Insulated Render Systems

Our walling system surpasses current thermal efficiency regulations, providing building occupants with healthier, more comfortable considitions with minimal energy usage and environmental impact.

The Insulation materials used in our products have a reduced ODP (Ozone Depleting Potential) - minimising their impact on the environment.

Below is a selection of recent projects that we have undertaken:

Fisher Close

This project consisted of STO Insulated Render Systems to the main external walls and Coloured Laminate Panels to the Stair Cores and Circulation Areas, Cedar Infills installed around front doors.

The project was an Over Clad system to a 1960's concrete built block funded by CESP, to improve both Aesthetics and Thermal Performance.

Coopers Walk, Broxbane Housing Association

This project consisted of STO Insulated Render Systems to the main external walls and Coloured Laminate Panels to the Stair Cores and Circulation Areas, Cedar Infills installed around front doors. The project was an Over Clad system to a 1960's concrete built block funded by CESP, to improve both Aesthetics and Thermal Performance. We also carried out Design & Build Works to the Walkway supports and the facades to the Curved Staircases.

Wolvercote Road

Retro-Installation, Overcladding an existing 1960's block of flats which was poorly insulated. The works involved overcladding the existing building with 125mm layer of EPS and Render System in Permarock.

The B.R.I.T School, Croydon

Insulated & Solid Coloured Rendering Systems

This prestigious project required the use of both Solid and insulated renders, using 3 different insulation mediums, EPS, Mineral & Phenolic boards, in varying thickness’s to suit the differing substrates, added to this the varying colours and finishes, of Orange, Black, Grey and White in varying grain sizes, plus Superlit black natural aggregate finish at DPC plinth level.

Particular care was required to ensure that the sharp demarcation between different coloured renders was maintained.

St Mary’s & St. Pancras CE Primary School

Our contract involved the supply and installantion of 3000 M/Sq external wall insulated render and 1000M/Sq Western Red Cedar Timber rain screen system and associated flashings for Mansell Construction.

Substrates were a mixture of lightsteel from, RC concrete & solid blockwall. The overall scheme was the provision of 168 cluster flats/studios, ancillary accommodation and primary school to the lower floors to accommodate 240 pupils and 30 staff.

Primark, Croydon

The scope of works requested that we apply an Alsecco insulated render system to the shop front elevation and to the columns only of the side elevation.

In order to complete this project we utilised our specialist render team which was supervised and managed by a senior manager.

Northolt Road, Harrow

These exclusive Apartments, were a H.A. Marks Ltd through the wall solution, incorporating Design, & installation of Light steel framing, Sheathing Boards, Insulation internally & externally, Breather Membranes, with Facades finished in a mixture of Terracotta Rainscreen, Insulated Render & Cement Weather boarded Rainscreen to the Penthouses.

As the whole wall package was with us we were able to limit setting out & co-ordination issues to a minimum, particularly in the Terracotta Facades where cuts in the tiles would be aesthetically negative.

Norbury Manor Primary School

This project required a fully designed self supporting light steel framework incorporating curved lattice roof trusses, monopitch lattice trusses and infill wall to form the building frame using only modern methods of construction (MMC).

Wall construction included insulation, carrier board, finishes with insulated render, trespa woodgrain rainscreen and timber cladding.

Lygoe House

This Social Housing Project, required the Design, Supply & Install of Approx 3000m2 of Light Steel Frame, finished in brickwork and Zinc, with Insulation internally & externally to achieve exceptionally high ratings for Thermal & Acoustic resistance.

Perforated intumescent Fire breaks were built in to the rainscreen cavity to achieve up to 1 hour fire separation whilst maintaining the drained ventilated cavity construction required.

Arnhem Wharf School

This project is another example of the versatile talents of HA Marks Ltd. utilising part Textura rainscreen on secret fix undercut anchor support system, and insulated render in contrast, with green walls further punctuating the facades aesthetics.
